Almost Done

You don’t have to suffer to be a poet; adolescence is enough suffering for anyone.
— John Ciardi

harridan \HAIR-uh-din\, noun:
A worn-out strumpet; a vixenish woman; a hag.

After my mostly useless day in which I picked up my bottom retainer and failed miserably at studying for my exams, Alexadnra and I went to see Bernadatte Peters. The opening was Gershwin’s “An American in Paris”; it was wonderful. Ms. Peters sang various Broadway tunes and standards like “Fever” and “The way you look tonight”.

I was sleepy during the concert. I am looking forward to the month of May for many reasons. People are coming back into town. I get to go to Montreal solo. The highlight of the month is my first trip to the US and Europe.

That is all I care about now.
