The sad truth is that excellence makes people nervous.
— Shana Alexander

apothegm \AP-uh-them\, noun:
A short, witty, and instructive saying.

The end of the break, and I did not even get any memorable dreams out of it. It ended with a lot of cramping as well.

I tried to study today. I wrote fiction more than anything. I am more than halfway through my Moleskine because I have been inspired by one of my daydream sequences to make it into a story. I’ve written sixty pages of the little black notebook in four days. This is actually a big deal. I may have to buy a new one before my birthday. I will spending a lot around that time which is bad considering I still need a summer job, and I am going to quit my current one.

I spoke to Justin, Emma, and Alexandra today. Interestingly enough, my longest phone conversation was with Justin. He really is the most effeminate straight man I have and probably will ever meet.

Life needs to inspire me again.
