New Year

“The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled.”
-Plutarch

lucre \LOO-kuhr\, noun:
Monetary gain; profit; riches; money; — often in a bad sense.

It has been warming up quite nicely these last two days. I woke up to birds chirping outside. It was bright, snow was melting, and people came into work happy especially the women. It will snow again tomorrow though.

Now that I have shorter hair again, I am already planning on how my long hair will grow. I’ve decided that once most of the layers grow through, I am getting a fringe. Yes, bangs such as the ones I got as a kid and then growing my hair until it’s at my mid waist again. Just an idea to play around.

Happy Chinese New Year though. I just got off the phone with my Aunt in China. Lots of school work still to do; I’m actually doing my weekly politics paper now. Alexandra called this evening, and I almost cried during one point. I am still afraid to check my school email.

I want to jump out of my body.
