The dentist cost me some more money as I went in for a checkup and cleaning, but also came out with two fillings and my bottom back wire removed. I am picking up my new retainer tomorrow. Now I have two of them. I am also going to really, really try to floss this time. Starting tonight, I will try to do it twice a day or even after all meals. After my visit, I went window shopping and only managed to buy camera film and more floss.

I watched The Pianist today before going out. Watching the movie is made more intense by the real true story and the fact i am going to Poland. It was a very engrossing movie experience. I will be going to Montreal next week. I am going alone, and Alex did suggest I see Chantal and Sebastien. I will call them before I go to see if I can visit them. This will allow me to not be alone part of the day especially if I am going to have to eat alone. I am doing more planning as everything slowly comes together. A lot of things, including the movie, today remind me about how crazy and intense the trip will be. I will cry often, and I will come back sick and affected.
