- Do you cheat and peek ahead at the end of your books? Or do you resolutely read in sequence, as the author intended?
- And, if you don’t peek, do you ever feel tempted? – Booking Through Thursday
No, I don’t peek. I do feel tempted sometimes, but it’s more motivation for me to finish it because I know things will be resolved at the end. This has helped me read faster which may not be the best thing because sometimes I want to know the ending so bad I rush through some details.

Working all day today and tomorrow which means not much reading. I’ll have time on Saturday to reread HP2, Twelfth Night, and start another book.

So far, I’m the only peeker in the bunch! Yikes! But I have a good reason… I wrote about it here. Happy BTT!

This was a good question – I don’t peek (much) – never in fiction. But then, I don’t eat dessert first, either – I like the anticipation as much as the sweets!

melanie – I completely agree. I’m a “save the best for last” kind of girl.

I don’t peek either. What I typically do is read the last paragraph or just the last two lines of a book to see if it ends well. I do love a great finish, and I can forgive a book many things if it has that. If it’s bad I probably won’t read it.
Oh actually I’m fibbing. In some fantasy books I do peek, *just* to see if a character I’ve grown very attached to is still alive several pages later. Sigh. I can’t help it. 😀

No peeking for me! I know it’ll ruin the book for me.
